SITE OF THE MONTH

Being a fan and writer of several screenplay-format pieces, I am proud to plug Dante's Inferno as the escape from FF.Net's mad "no script-format!" rule.

ABOUT.

None Of That Emo Crap is basically a rip-off of a Web Page Review site, conceptually. But instead of reviewing little emo websites, we'll be extending (actually "changing" is a better term) the service to fan fiction. More specifically, Gilmore Girls Fan Fiction. We're not a very ambitious congregation, and we're not trying to start a trend. We simply want to help other authors out there with the complicated craft that is writing GG fan fiction. We all know it's hard, with the rapid-fire dialogue and all those damn 70s-80s punk references (plus the shifty characterizations), and maybe we can help. (I underline the word "maybe" here-- we're not miracle workers, man!)

Just like WPR's, None Of That Emo Crap has a Criteria System; we'll be looking at:
Plot
Characterization
Style/Flow
Structure/Grammar/Spelling
Things To Work On
Parts That Rocked Our Socks

And in the end, we'll give you a letter mark (just like in school!) ranging from an A to an F.

We'll be honest, but hopefully not intimidating (but if that's what it takes, you massochist...) because we all know how hard it is to go out on a limb and then find that some evil kid has bitten it off like a hungry hyena. We'll also be as detailed as we can because we're aware that mere one-liners (or worse, scathing one-liners) put in each part of a review stink like cherry-flavoured fart bombs and don't help at all. Unless your story completely blows us away and shoves us into a speechless, almost comatose state.
