Spin Cycle by Jess

Plot: Gah! Metaphor. I love metaphor. Basically an introspective look at (mainly) Rory’s thoughts on her relationship with Logan, beautifully crafted and expressed by Jess. It’s wonderfully complex and simple at the same time.
Characterization: Both Rory and Logan are wonderful to me. I really have no comments to make regarding characterization. You make them feel so alive. I can hear Rory thinking in scientific terms in my head. It would be just the kind of thing that she would say - speaking of centripetal and centrifugal forces.
Style/Flow: Uniquely beautiful.
Structure/Grammar/Spelling: Nothing major to report. Everything was as it should be in my opinion.
Things to Work On: I hate to say this because the use of metaphor worked so well with what you were trying to say, but at times it seemed a little too much. I think that you could maybe lighten it a little bit without changing the purpose and the structure of the piece. Does that make any sense at all?
Parts that Rocked My Socks: She's tired of disappointment, and the feeling of something too close to betrayal.
You KILL me with that line. Absolutely perfect.
And of course: "Because I can't watch you leave." He's resigned himself to the fact that she's become a permanent fixture in his life, and it has to stay that way.
I had tears in my eyes the first time I read that line. Beautifully crafted, Jess.
